Padli — padel court booking platform Operated by VORTEK INOVATIONS D.O.O. Skopje

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device so that it can recognise your browser on a subsequent visit. Alongside cookies, a website may store data in your browser's local storage — the same idea, with the difference that this data is not sent with every request and remains on your device until you clear it.
A website may also use session storage, which works in the same way but is emptied as soon as you close the tab.
This Policy covers all three, together with the equivalent storage in the Padli mobile applications.
2. What we use, in short
Padli uses one cookie: the one that keeps you signed in. Everything else we store is kept in your device's local or session storage: your own settings, together with two opaque identifiers by which we count how the Platform is used.
We do not use analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use advertising pixels, third-party trackers or cross-site profiling of any kind. We do not place your data at the disposal of any advertising network, and we use no external analytics service.
We do measure our own service. We record a small number of events of your use of the applications — a venue page opened, a search that returned nothing, the step of the booking flow at which people give up — in order to find where the Platform fails people and to correct it. That measurement takes place on our own systems, is shared with no one, and is described in full in section 3.30 of the Privacy Policy, including how to object to it. It uses no cookie: the two identifiers it relies on are listed in section 4 below.
There is therefore no consent banner to click through — there is no cookie here that requires consent.
3. The cookie we set
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
padli_auth |
Keeps you signed in and identifies your session on every request. Without it the Platform cannot know who you are. | Strictly necessary, first-party | Until it expires or you sign out |
Properties of this cookie:
httpOnly— it cannot be read by JavaScript, which protects it from being stolen by a script injected into the page.- Host-only, per subdomain — the player, venue and administrator applications each have their own; one session can never reach another.
SameSite=Lax— it is not sent with requests initiated by other websites.Secure— in production it is transmitted only over an encrypted connection.- On our side, the value is stored only as a cryptographic hash and has an expiry, so it can neither be read out of our database nor used indefinitely.
This cookie is strictly necessary for the service. It cannot be switched off while you are signed in; you remove it by signing out.
4. What we keep in your device's local storage
With the exception of the last row, none of the following ever leaves your device unless it is also a setting on your account:
| Value | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Language | The language in which the Platform is displayed to you. |
| Appearance | Your choice of light, dark or system appearance. |
| Notification prompt | Records that the explanation of notifications has already been shown, so it is not shown again. |
| Level prompt | Records that the one-time invitation to set your starting level has been shown. |
| Contacts discovery | Records that you have enabled searching for friends through your contacts. |
| Booking in progress | Holds a booking you had started when you were sent to the bank's payment page, so it can be completed when you return. |
| Invite code in progress | Holds an invite code you opened before signing in, so it can be applied afterwards. |
| Card selection | Remembers your last chosen payment card. |
| Board view (venues) | Remembers the layout, date and court chosen in the venue console. |
padli_anon_id |
An opaque installation identifier, generated on your device and containing no data about you. It lets the measurement described in section 2 recognise repeat use from the same installation. Kept until you clear the application or browser data. |
And one value in session storage, which is discarded as soon as you close the tab:
| Value | Purpose |
|---|---|
padli_session_id |
An opaque identifier for the current visit, generated on your device, so that the steps of one visit are counted as one visit and not as several. |
The two identifiers above are the only values in this section that are sent to us; they accompany the events described in section 2 and in section 3.30 of the Privacy Policy. Everything else in this section stays on your device.
You can clear all of it at any time by clearing your browser data or the application data, without losing your account.
5. Third-party content
Some parts of the Platform load content from third parties, which may set their own cookies under their own policies:
- Google Maps — shows the location of a venue and provides directions. Loaded only on the screens where a map is displayed. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
- The bank's payment page (Halk Bank AD Skopje, NESTPAY) — during payment you are taken to a page hosted by the bank, on which the bank's own cookies apply. This is where your card data is entered; it never reaches us.
- Google and Apple sign-in — where you choose to sign in with one of these providers, the sign-in flow takes place on their pages, under their policies.
We have no access to, and no control over, the cookies set by these third parties.
6. How to control cookies through your browser
Every browser allows you to view, block and delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy and security. Instructions for the most common browsers are published by their manufacturers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).
Please note: if you block the padli_auth cookie, you will not be able to sign in — the
Platform will have no way of recognising you between requests.
7. Your rights
The cookie we use is strictly necessary and is processed on the basis of the performance of a contract, not on the basis of consent. All other rights over your personal data — access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Agency for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia — are described in the Privacy Policy at www.padli.app/privacy-policy.
8. Changes to this Policy
Should we ever introduce cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will amend this Policy, request your consent beforehand, and provide you with a means of managing it. Changes take effect upon their publication on the Platform.
